“Debra Lynch is not just an Occupational Therapist, she is a healer. With her expertise and wonderfully, cheerful smile and attitude, OT has never been such an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
Having been successful in many trades in my time: office manager, photographer, artist, jewelry maker, home maker; my hands are one of my most important tools. One of my first hand injuries where I needed to seek help was my thumb on my right hand. I had been told there wasn’t much more that I could do for the pain, due to numerous sports injuries throughout my many active years, but I should, perhaps try Occupational Therapy before succumming to surgery. It was at this time that I was lucky enough to find Debra, approx 15 years ago. She did such a great job that it wasn’t until now that it has been necessary to come back with the old degenerative thumb problem. At this point, there isn’t much anyone can do with that, except surgery, but where do you think I’ll be spending several days a week right after I have had that done!!!!?????~!!!!
As if this weren't enough, three years ago I had the need to re-find Debra to help me with the extreme pain I was experiencing in my right shoulder after a nasty fall. We did our best with OT for several months, but, ultimately, I did need surgery. After surgery came the tough work. I again went back to Debra. After months of A LOT of hard work, I was absolutely amazed, when one morning I woke, went to pull something down off a tall shelf, and……Woooe!!! NO PAIN!! Little by little the days of no pain spread into one another, until just under a year later, I constantly forget that I even had a shoulder problem.
Lest this be enough, I further injured my elbow, yes, on my right arm, making photography, art work, gardening and almost anything that needs the use of my arm, almost impossible. Back to Debra I went!! Ms. Magic and her incredible knowledge and ingenuity have helped massively.
With a bit of luck, as much as I enjoy spending time with Debra and her other patients, I do hope I have just about reached the end of my damaged digits! But should it be necessary, I wouldn’t ever see anyone else for my hand and arm problems but Debra Lynch!! She is large miracle in a wonderfully energetic and intelligent complete package!!"

“Ms. Debra Lynch has achieved a profound place in my life and in my heart. I brought a severely damaged wrist to Deb, having broken it in four places, having undergone surgery, and adopted titanium plating with many screws. Deb under-stands my being a guitar player, and how important the full and dynamic use of my hand is to me.
Debra used her many skills and talents to take me through the delicate, sensitive phase of bone fracture and surgery recovery, to the repetitive, reuse and strengthening required for complete reintroduction of power and flexibility, necessary for my career work, sports, and playing music.
I enjoy my life and loves with a new respect for my hands, and the care and therapy provided by a great Occupational Therapist dedicated to Hands - Ms. Debra Lynch.
Regards and health
to all,
Peter Marcato

“Dear Debi,
I want to thank you for the wonderful care you provided me after my rotator cuff surgery. Your skill in treating me and your encouragement and cheerful manner made my rehabilitation much easier, and enabled me to get back on the tennis courts feeling as good as new."

“Debra Lynch was a consummate professional for several months when she helped me through a wrist injury. At every appointment, she was warm and welcoming and took the anxiousness out of the situation. She made me feel like I was going to meet friends rather than participate in occupational therapy. I observed her with all types of clients during my time with her and she was always kind and helpful to adults and children alike. I have and will continue to recommend her to anyone who is in need of occupational therapy."

"I met Debi in 2008, a short while after I had my first carpal tunnel surgery in February. I was experiencing weakness in my hand and had scar tissue that caused pain and discomfort. Within a few weeks of starting the exercises, I had a noticeable improvement of the strength in my hand and less scar tissue build up at the site of the surgery. After my second carpal tunnel surgery, I started with Debi immediately and my recovery time was much shorter.
Debi warmly greets her patients and provides attention to all their needs and concerns. I always refer anyone who needs occupational hand therapy to Debi."

"I arrived at Debra Lynch' office after 5 and 1/2 hours of surgery to reconstruct my badly shattered elbow suffered during a horrible car accident. Now I had a titanium elbow and no range of motion in any joint in my right arm because I had to wait 4 weeks for surgery. Everything was frozen from no movement so you can imagine the challenge I presented to Debra. The littlest things were difficult to do and the pain was great BUT Debra was always encouraging and understanding throughout all the pain and tears. We were in this together and we were both determined to get as much movement out of each joint as humanly possible! And we did! Thanks to Debra I can do just about everything I used to, even with my mechanical joint!
I will never take for granted what Debra did for me and I will always be grateful for her hard work, dedication and even the creativity it took on her part to get all of my joints working again. I could not have done all that hard work without her!!!"

"When my cast came off seven weeks after I fell on the ice and broke my wrist, I had no strength or range of motion. Working with Debi, I was able to quickly begin to use my hand and wrist, and over the course of the therapy, I was able to get the full use and strength back."

"After falling while ice skating, I required surgery on my frozen shoulder. I was fearful that I wouldn't regain full use of the shoulder. Luckily, I found a wonderful occupational therapist in Debi Lynch. She was gentle, caring and encouraging. Within a few weeks, my shoulder was on the mend, and by the time my OT ended, it was stronger than ever."

"When the Doctor first told me that I had torn a tendon from one of the bones in my elbow and needed it reattached, like many people who have had heard news like this, I had many questions. What does the surgery entail? How long will the recovery be? How long will I need rehabilitation therapy? And my main concern was would I have full mobility and strength in my primary arm?
Honestly, I initially chose Debi Lynch for convenience. Her office was located between my home and work. But after my first visit, I knew that I had made the correct choice….not for the convenience, but for her professionalism, knowledge, atmosphere and people skills. I trusted her therapeutic plan and with her help I was able to regain full range of motion and strength in my arm.
So a few years later when I tore another tendon from the bone in the same elbow, my choice of Occupational Therapist was easy; I called Debi. Since I have had such great success working together with Debi, I recommended my husband see her for his hand. He also has completed his course of therapy with success.
I have and continue to recommend Debi to many people in hopes that they also will result in the same level of success and accomplishments as we have.
With happiness, strength and full range of motion,
Susan Tofte"

"Last May I fell backwards while playing tennis and fractured two bones in my wrist. I was initially casted in the emergency room and a week later I was operated on and my radius was attached to a plate to help it heal. About a week or two after the operation, while still in a cast, my orthopedic surgeon suggested I start occupational therapy and gave me Debra Lynch's name.
When I first saw Debi I was in pain and pretty depressed, but Debi was like a ray of sunshine. She was friendly and warm and caring and last, but not least, a wonderful therapist. Whether I was the only one there or if she had multiple patients, she always gave me all of the attention I needed and was always positive and open to doing anything and everything to get her patients back to complete functionality.
My wrist is back to normal and I know that Debi played a huge part in my recovery."

"Debi takes the time to thoroughly learn about her patients so that she can create the most effective therapy program. I felt very comfortable from my very first visit and was impressed with how she interacted with each patient. She shows a genuine interest in her patient’s condition and progress.
Should the need arise, I would definitely go back to Debi for treatment."
